Dads, Donuts & Dingers is a laid-back Saturday morning meetup for dads who want to hang out, drink coffee, crush donuts, and play some casual sandlot-style softball while the kids run around and have fun too. No pressure, no serious league vibes, just a few innings and a good excuse to build community with other dads before heading home in time for nap time and a freshly cut lawn.

Come ready to play or just hang back and talk—it all works. It’s free, all ages are welcome. Head to the baseball fields near the tennis courts at Byrd Park and you’ll find us.

Live Music at James River Cellars (August)

Ease into a summer evening with live music, open skies, and the kind of laid-back atmosphere that invites you to stay a while. Join Harrison & Christina Jones on select Fridays—June 19th, July 24th, and August 21st—from 6:30pm until close at James River Cellars Winery for Pavilion Night: an easygoing blend of music, dancing, and good food.

This is a free-flowing, come-and-go kind of night. Food trucks will be on site and live music will carry the evening. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
