Audiobook Walk (August)

  • Meet Outside of Casa Del Barco (map)

Start your Saturday with fresh air, easy movement, and a good story in your ears. Join us for an Audiobook Walk on August 29th at 8:00am (with some flexibility for future Saturday mornings) as we gather at the canal walk in front of Casa del Barco for a relaxed group walk along the river.

We’ll begin by meeting up and briefly connecting over what everyone is listening to, then set off at a mild, comfortable pace down the canal, across the suspension bridge onto Belle Isle, loop the island, and return the way we came. The full route is about 4 miles round trip, but you’re welcome to turn around at any point that fits your time or comfort level.

Pop in your headphones, press play, and enjoy the walk—whether you’re deep into a great audiobook or just want to come along for the company. Strollers and shoes that can handle gravel are recommended. Afterward, anyone interested can grab coffee together at The Plant Café and meet a few new friends along the way.
